Social Media Strategist & Manager

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and managing day-to-day social media operations for TikTok and Instagram. Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for both TikTok and Instagram to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Monitor trends and stay updated with industry best practices to keep our content relevant and exciting.
2. Content Creation & Curation:
• Create visually appealing and on-brand content (photos, videos, graphics, and captions) for Instagram and TikTok that resonates with our target audience.
• Craft compelling copy and design strategies that align with our voice and brand message.
• Leverage tools to enhance content production and post efficiency.
3. Community Engagement & Growth:
• Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner to build strong relationships.
• Grow our social media following organically by identifying and engaging with influencers, brand ambassadors, and potential collaborators.
• Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and audience engagement.
4. Campaigns & Promotions:
• Create and execute social media campaigns to promote events, special offers, and collaborations.
• Track performance of each campaign and provide insights to optimize future promotions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align promotions and events with social media content.
5. Analytics & Reporting:
• Monitor social media performance through analytics tools and track key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, impressions, and conversions.
• Provide regular performance reports to Melanie and the team, along with actionable insights to improve content strategy.
6. Trendspotting & Innovation:
• Keep an eye on social media trends and viral challenges, especially on TikTok, to ensure Book With Mel stays ahead of the curve.
• Experiment with new features, formats, and content types to continually innovate and enhance our social media presence.

Qualifications:

• Proven Social Media Expertise: At least 2-3 years of experience in social media management, particularly on TikTok and Instagram. Experience in nightlife, events, or hospitality is a plus.
• Creative & Trend-Savvy: Ability to create viral, on-brand content that connects with an audience. Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends and how to leverage them for engagement.
• Content Creation Skills: Proficient in photo and video editing software, with the ability to create high-quality visuals and engaging captions.
• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with social media analytics tools and using data to drive decisions. Ability to analyze performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong writing, editing, and communication skills to create clear, engaging content and interact with our audience.
• Self-Starter & Proactive: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• High-Energy & Passionate: Energetic, creative, and passionate about social media and the nightlife industry. Enthusiastic about building a community and engaging with followers.
