Board Certified Genetic Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Genetic Counselor - Lab Based - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support for molecular, genomic, and biochemical genetic testing to clients and healthcare providers
• Review incoming fetal specimens to ensure appropriate testing and essential patient information are provided
• Coordinate testing for clients, including send-out and reporting of results, and communicate abnormal results with recommendations

Required Qualifications

• MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
• ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required
• Previous Genetic Counseling experience preferred
• Previous Prenatal and/or Lab Genetic Counseling experience highly desired
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
