Key Responsibilities

• Completes claims and documents billing activity according to regulations and guidelines
• Reviews trends related to denials and insurance credit balances, taking necessary actions to resolve issues
• Contacts payers regarding account status and processes electronic remittances and bank deposits

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office required
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Prior healthcare computer system and Epic billing experience preferred
