Overview:
  Berry Appleman & Leiden is seeking a Law Clerk for a temporary assignment for 90 days, or longer if extended. Responsibilities include assisting our legal team in preparing Regional Templates for our clients and legal teams. You must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task, possess excellent communication skills and be experienced in MS Word.

Primary Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities, under the supervision of Practice Manager, Team Manager, or Attorney, include assisting our legal team in preparing corporate immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions and other immigration applications. Secondary responsibilities include other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager, Team Manager, or Attorney.

Qualifications:

  • You must be detail-oriented; able to prioritize and multi-task; and possess excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Second or Third year law school student or recent law school graduate awaiting Bar results.
  • Some business immigration experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Some government and/or public policy experience is preferred, but not required.
