Our client is a global leader in project logistics, providing engineered transport solutions across complex international supply chains. Their team combines industry expertise with innovative technologies to deliver reliable, efficient, and sustainable logistics solutions for oversized and heavy cargo worldwide.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive business development in Eastern Europe & Central Asia regions. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, expanding regional market presence, and cultivating long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in project logistics or heavy cargo transportation and a deep understanding of these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow market share and revenue across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients in sectors requiring complex logistics solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end business development activities from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop tailored logistics proposals.
  • Stay informed on regional market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activities.
  • Report regularly on sales performance, market insights, and pipeline development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project logistics or heavy/oversized cargo transport.
  • Established network and proven sales success in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia markets.
  • Strong understanding of logistical requirements in sectors like energy, construction, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fully remote environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Russian or other regional languages is a strong plus.
