ABOUT THE ROLE

The Table Service Manager oversees VIP guest experiences, ensuring top-tier service during events and effective post-event follow-up. Responsibilities include managing table service operations, scheduling staff, and providing leadership in line with company standards.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Management

  • Supervision: Oversee daily activities of VIP hosts to ensure adherence to service standards.  
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training in customer service, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.  
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess and give feedback on host performance.  
  • Guest Relations: Create personalized experiences for VIP guests and promptly address complaints.  
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from VIP guests to enhance service.

Operational Oversight

  • Scheduling: Manage staff schedules for adequate coverage during peak times.  
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of supplies for VIP hosts.  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service.
  • Write schedules for events and labor shifts.  
  • Review and approve staff timesheets for payroll.  
  • Assist in preparing employee schedules based on business forecasts and productivity.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Sales Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance to optimize service offerings.  
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on VIP service performance, guest satisfaction, and staff productivity.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key VIP clients to encourage repeat business.

Compliance and Standards

  • Policy Adherence: Ensure operations comply with company policies and industry regulations alongside the Director of F&B.  
  • Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in service areas.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of  Table Service management experience in hospitality, guest services, or event operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Experience in high-volume entertainment or nightlife venues.  
  • Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.  
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness and crisis management.  
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance and inclusive service practices.  
  • CPR, First Aid, and Narcan Administration certification (preferred).  
  • FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-04 (or willingness to obtain).  
  • Proficiency in handling guest concerns and incident documentation.  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Familiarity with hospitality software and POS systems is a plus.

COMPENSATION

  •  The hourly rate for this position is $30-$35.
