Associate EDI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate EDI Engineer to support its healthcare EDI team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and configuring EDI solutions for healthcare transactions
• Help set up and maintain eligibility feeds between health plans and trading partners
• Support troubleshooting of EDI transmission and data mapping issues

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with healthcare EDI formats and/or X12 transaction sets, or equivalent coursework/internship experience
• Basic understanding of healthcare insurance workflows and claims data
• Familiarity with JavaScript and SQL; exposure to C# is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security is preferred
