Associate Actuary, FCAS

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuary, P&C Reserving - Mass Tort and Special Projects (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains dialogue with Claims leadership to reflect changes in estimated loss and loss adjustment expense amounts
• Supervises corporate liabilities and leads management of in-house exposure models
• Conducts complex analyses, documents assumptions, and prepares findings for technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field
• Actuarial designation required, preferably Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
• Seven or more years of actuarial experience
• Expert knowledge of actuarial business functions and statistical methods of analysis
• Mastery of actuarial software, databases, and Microsoft Office products
