Assistant Controller - Financial Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller - Financial Reporting & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Manage and supervise a team of accounting managers, providing guidance and support in their respective areas
• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial data and reports to internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 24 semester hours in accounting subjects or equivalent experience
• A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in accounting and leadership roles
• Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and complex formulas
• Eligibility for access to sensitive government information, requiring U.S. citizenship
