Job Summary

A company is looking for a PAS Pre-Service Prior Authorization Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and complete insurance authorization requests while verifying and documenting patient insurance information
• Provide necessary authorization details and maintain accurate records of referrals and authorizations
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, following escalation protocols for authorization issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations
• Proficiency in common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and human relations skills
