What You’ll Work On

You’ll be working on high-impact Shopify builds through our partner agencies — not generic theme setups, but custom storefronts, performance-focused builds, and UI-heavy experiences that require strong frontend chops. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with agency-side teams: project managers, tech leads, account managers, other developers, and designers who know what they’re doing. Occasionally, you’ll also interface with the merchant’s own team — usually eCommerce managers, product owners, or engineers on their side. These are structured, fast-moving projects where your code quality, speed, and communication will stand out.

Responsibilities

• Building custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, blazing-fast storefronts
• Creating complex frontend interfaces with smooth interactions and responsive layouts
• Using modern JS (and ideally React) to power dynamic content and UI
• Working directly with other developers, designers, and marketers to build smart, scalable ecommerce solutions
• Owning your work — from quality and performance to delivery and improvements

• Fluency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with React or similar frameworks is a major plus
• Agency experience is highly desired
• Shopify Plus experience is highly desired
• Mastery of frontend UI — from animations to mobile responsiveness to browser quirks
• Deep understanding of Shopify performance optimization and SEO best practices
• Experience migrating stores from platforms like Magento or Salesforce Commerce
• You actually care about code quality, performance, UX, and maintainability
