Android Reverse Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Android Reverse Engineer to support a leading Global Cyber security company in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep analysis of Android applications to understand their codebase and functionality
• Employ reverse engineering techniques to identify user and device risks, data leakage, and malicious code
• Collaborate with security researchers and developers to share findings and contribute to secure software development

Required Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Android Development, Reverse Engineering, or Application Security Assessments
• Experience analyzing or reverse engineering code, preferably of malicious applications
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with exposure to JavaScript, Flutter, and other mobile software languages
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, and IDA Pro
• Knowledge of query languages such as SQL and ELF (Native Binaries) reverse engineering
