Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage documentation to support IT cybersecurity goals and objectives
• Advise senior management on system risk levels and cybersecurity posture for cloud-based environments
• Perform Assessment and Authorization (A&A) cybersecurity reviews and support risk management plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience with SP 800-37 RMF and NIST 800.53
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Aquasec and Sonar Qube
• Must possess a Security + certification
• Experience ensuring adherence to cybersecurity requirements and best practices
