Market Leads at AMBOSS are responsible for analyzing, managing, and executing the respective market’s performance across all business-relevant metrics.

Since then we have grown to currently operate in 180 countries and have gained immense traction in Germany and the US. Currently, we are pursuing this mission with more than 500+ employees in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, New York, and Cagliari.

We’re looking for an analytically-driven and open-minded character to support our efforts in the DACH Nurses market - ultimately responsible for AMBOSS’ market success incl. ARR goals, aligning sales and marketing for that and for the business to reach those goals. 

As the Market Lead for DACH Nurses, you will be responsible for business analysis and insights, business planning, commercial execution, regional operating processes, and managing cross-functional market-specific initiatives and budgets by building strong relationships across the company. The Market Lead manages the cross-functional team as the owner of a regional-functional matrix and you will ultimately be responsible for its market success.

You will:

Business Planning:

  • Working with the functional leads of the marketing, sales, medical and product department to formulate local strategies for the DACH Nurses
  • Responsible for driving this market to its full market potential, taking a holistic business approach and company targets into account
  • Ensuring that the plan takes into account all necessary local and global functions and addresses both local challenges and global priorities

Business Reviews and Reporting:

  • Tracking the periodic performance of market important metrics
  • Owning the process, framework, and output of market analysis and business reviews, tracking of budgets and initiatives as part of the business plan

Operating Processes & Management:

  • Providing the functions with the insights and knowledge needed to drive decisions and define strategy
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of the business plan incl. budget management - in order to reach set goals and targets
  • Ensuring communication and alignment between all functions, including Content, Marketing, Product, Tech, Finance, Sales
  • Disseminate the AMBOSS culture, creating an environment for people to learn and grow / inspire and motivate teams

Problem Solving, Markets Budgeting, Cross-Functional Collaborations:

  • Evaluating and executing on market opportunities and identifying and solving operational problems with the team
  • Taking action and escalating challenges and deviances from plans and objectives when necessary
  • Stepping in and executing alongside or in place of functions when needed

You bring:

  • Ideally 4+ years of experience running cross-functional teams and leading in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication skills: a native German speaker with proficient English skills.
  • A generalist skill set: proven record of developing business opportunities, both commercially and strategically.
  • Proven results demonstrating thought leadership and business judgment, developing and interpreting deep data analysis, and presenting rigorous insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to build concise and illustrative presentations; strong proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, Keynote/PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Docs.
  • You bring our Market Lead qualities: genuine, confident, flexible, and fun attitude.
