Affordable Housing Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Affordable Housing Resident Engagement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for local markets and central departments regarding the Housing Choice Voucher Program
• Ensure compliance with HUD program requirements and facilitate inspections with the Housing Authority
• Engage with residents to promote success and conduct communication efforts regarding resident delinquency

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of property management experience in the rental industry
• Previous experience with Housing Authorities and the Voucher Choice Program is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Computer literacy, including competency in MS Office suite
