We are looking for a highly skilled Tech Support Specialist with expertise in Linux (Ubuntu and CentOS) platforms, cloud technologies, and proficiency in a wide range of tools and technologies including shell scripting, Python, Nginx, TCP/IP, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, AWS, AliCloud, Git/GitLab/SVN, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support to our clients, resolving complex issues related to our cloud technology
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using shell, Python, and other scripting languages to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to offer 24/7 technical support and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python for automation and system administration tasks.
- Proven experience as a Linux system administrator with strong proficiency in Ubuntu and CentOS.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and AWS/AliCloud
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ability to speak Mandarin and English fluently to communicate with global colleagues and stakeholders
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations, shift timings are as follow: morning: 8am-5pm, noon: 2pm-11pm and midnight: 11pm-8am
