Educator Human Resources Generalist

Job Title: Educator Human Resources Generalist 

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis 

Salary: $45,000 USD 

Hours: Mon - Fri - 40 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:

 The Educator HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring that Zen Educate is an amazing and responsible employer for our hundreds of educators in the field. The day to day responsibilities of this role includes various administrative and record keeping tasks as well conducting necessary HR related audits. On top of this, this role will engage in more long-term efforts to improve educator employee relations and the development of strong policies and codes of conduct.


Key Responsibilities:

-Support with general administrative tasks and HR related audits as needed. 

-Complete state unemployment information requests.

-Support with proper educator termination and resignation processes.

-Complete garnishment requests.

-Support with the management of workers compensation cases.

-Support your senior team members with the development and implementation of new education policies and codes of conduct as well as general employee relations.


 Minimum requirements:

-Some form of experience in a human resources role.

-Completion of education in human resources may also be considered. Must be an independent and self-motivated worker.

-Comfortable with technology including Google suite.

-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

-Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

-Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Strong passion for keeping children safe in Education. 


Preferred Experience:

-1 or more years experience in a human resources role.
