Project Manager

The role holder will be responsible for leading and delivering Zain cash projects following the appropriate project management framework (Waterfall, agile or hybrid). This will include managing projects resources, schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Also, to oversee and manage project change requests, risks, and the quality of deliverables.

Reasonability's:

  • Ability to lead Zain cash strategic projects and manage multiple large-mid size projects simultaneously.
  • Apply project management life cycle processes and company policies and procedures to lead the strategic projects and partnerships.
  • Defining projects goals, objectives, scope, plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Create and maintain quality project documentation, such as timelines, risk logs, project reports and change controls, which are always kept up to date.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk and reporting back to PMO.
  • Attending or chairing meetings and / or workshops, preparing meeting minutes and follow up to achieve identified actions.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain contingency and escalation plans.
  • Plan and coordinate with vendors (related procurements when needed per project)
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business, Economic, Finance or any related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in managing or coordinating high-impact projects or strategic initiatives
  • Professional certifications CAPM, PMP, or ACP (or equivalent) are plus.
  • Prior experience or knowledge within the fintech/banking/tech sectors is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong statistical skills, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic industry research capabilities, including risk and key drivers.
  • Ability to identify key drivers for change and process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority.
  • Financial Analysis.
  • Technology Proficiency.
