What we’re looking for

As an Account Executive, you will be a crucial player in driving Yapily's growth in the DACH region. This role is primarily focused on acquiring new business opportunities within Financial Services and Payments verticals, driving revenue growth.

We are looking for a proactive Account Executive with excellent experience of at least three years in B2B SaaS 2B SaaS or fintech sales, ideally with a focus on APIs, banking, or financial infrastructure, with proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the DACH market

You will be a subject matter expert, and you have strong consultative sales skills with the ability to map client needs to tailor solutions. 

We are looking for an individual contributor who is a self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, with experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales enablement tools, and pipeline management best practices.

Native-level German and fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.

Key Tasks …



  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and close new and strategic/ enterprise business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, including banks, payment processors, and large fintech companies.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our open banking and payment solutions and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, industry research, and targeted outreach.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent progress towards revenue targets.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to successfully close deals.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including SDR, pre-sales, product, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and continuous product improvement.



For your new role

  • At least 3 years of experience selling to enterprise businesses in the financial services and payments sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving new business development.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic executive relationships with clients.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into business-relevant terms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Application Process

The application process includes a 30-minute phone interview with a member of the people & talent team or hiring manager, followed by video interviews with the hiring manager and other team members. There will also be a conversation about our culture and values, and possibly a technical test. Most interviews are conducted via Google Meet.
