Salesforce Administrator

This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days/month in the office. You can be based in our office in Washington DC. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position. To be eligible for this position in US, you must be a resident of DC, Maryland or Virginia at the start of employment.

 

About the Program:

 

WRI's Operations department strives to make all global offices fully capable and low risk while enhancing their operational capabilities, establishing sustainable growth through a bond of mutual respect, collaboration and sharing knowledge across the sisterhood of WRI offices. This is done by targeting upon standards of performance, measuring the efficiency and effectiveness across all the WRI offices.

 

Job Highlight:

 

Reporting to CRM Solutions Architect, you will integrate equity into your work. 

You will be responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of WRI’s Constituent Relationship Management System: Salesforce. You will be expected to develop expertise in your assigned objects/processes and use that expertise to support users, tackle your assigned projects, and support the integration of Salesforce with other tools. You will be the first line of support for your assigned objects.

 

Change is a constant. You will keep Salesforce evolving to meet users’ needs while ensuring system stability. You will stay abreast of changing institutional trends and coordinate with colleagues across teams to ensure changes made in one system do not negatively impact another. You will coordinate with teammates focused on change management and user training to ensure end users have adequate support and guidance. As tools are approved for integration with Salesforce, you will lead on requirements gathering, integration building, testing, documentation, and integration support.

 

What will you do:

 

Administer Salesforce (60%):-

 

  • Resolve user support requests (import records, troubleshoot errors, build reports, etc)
  • Modify WRI’s Salesforce instance using a combination of declarative and programmatic methods
  • Work with assigned colleagues to ensure changes to WRI’s Salesforce instance do not break integrations with other tools
  • Work with assigned colleagues to ensure changes to WRI’s Salesforce instance are reflected in training materials
  • Maintain system documentation for your assigned objects/processes
  • Monitor changes to the SFDC platform for new or sunsetted features that may impact WRI
  • Complete other Salesforce admin duties, as assigned

 

Maintain and Build Salesforce Integrations (40%):

 

  • Salesforce users benefit from integration of Salesforce with other tools such as Workday, Outlook, Ortto, Zoom, Teams, and Asana. You will gather requirements and test, build, and support the integrations in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect.
  • Document data flows; monitor integrations to ensure data is flowing as expected.
  • Monitor error logs; troubleshoot and address root causes of unexpected behavior
  • Coordinate regularly with administrators of connected systems
  • Monitor usage limits and flag trends to management to avoid unexpected cost overages

 

What will you need:

 

  • Education: You have a completed a bachelor’s degree Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or relevant field. Relevant work experience in lieu of degree is accepted
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in user/customer-facing and cross-functional roles. Experience in highly technical roles is preferred.
  • A current Salesforce certificate is required. Strong preference for applicants with Advanced Admin, Architect, and Developer certifications
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: DevOps Center (or other DevOps tools), Apex, Salesforce APIs
  • Experience communicating complex business processes to a variety of audiences
  • This position will demand the ability to work with large amounts of data in Salesforce and Excel.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization

 

Potential Salary: US salary range is between 69,000 and 78,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
