ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.



This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability.



POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated U.S. Marketing Multi-Office Email Coordinator to play a key role in awareness and acquisition strategies for a portfolio of U.S. offices, nurturing leads through regular value-add and appeal emails, leading to new donors and volunteers. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and executing email marketing strategies that connect with potential supporters, nurturing relationships, and converting them into passionate donors and advocates for our mission. You’ll work alongside U.S. Office and Marketing staff to drive email engagement and conversions, enabling us to better serve and uplift the communities in need.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Email Strategy Development and Execution 
  • Meet weekly with key office stakeholders to identify upcoming email and lead generation workflows. Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies in collaboration with contact owners across various offices and departments to engage and convert leads into donors and volunteers using HubSpot. Manage email campaigns throughout their lifecycle, including planning, list segmenting, building, scheduling, testing, and reporting for your portfolio of offices.

  • Lead Generation, Email Optimization and Performance Improvement
  • Work with the US Marketing Specialist and USP Email Marketing Specialist to adapt, create, audit, and optimize automated email workflows (e.g., new lead onboarding, event/trigger-based emails, and donation appeals).
  • Maintain lead generation forms and triggers for automation in HubSpot.
  • Establish a monthly cadence of analysis and reporting to the Office Director and others as requested on email campaign performance (engagement and acquisitions), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor email deliverability and ensure compliance with regulations like the CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in email marketing, suggesting innovative ideas to maximize campaign effectiveness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
  • Work closely with Marketing, SED and CCE teams as relates to your portfolio of offices, toward a comprehensive external engagement strategy, representing proven top-of-funnel strategies in U.S. office markets.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to integrate email campaigns with other marketing channels for cohesive messaging and optimal results.
  • This collaboration would also be intended to share learnings, org best practices, and any platform changes.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot email marketing platform.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google suites.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR regulations to ensure compliance.
  • 3 years of experience in mass email marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or donation-based organization.
  • Up to domestic and/or international travel required


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Marketing and Engagement Expertise: Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including list management and segmentation, A/B testing, automation, and deliverability optimization.
  • Knowledge of key email marketing metrics and how to interpret them.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven Skills: Data-driven and curious mind.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Adaptability and Collaboration: Strong team orientation; able to collaborate well with others, share ideas openly, and adapt plans based on input from others.
  • Able to adapt to fast-paced, changing realities and needs, especially during disaster response situations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including content, visual design, and digital marketing.
  • Attention to Detail and Project Management: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills (Desirable but not Required): Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.


$50,000 - $53,000 a year
