Software Development Intern (QA)

Wisedocs is on a mission to make it easy and accessible for any company in the insurance, legal and medical space to understand medical documents quickly using AI (Artificial Intelligence). Every week, we process hundreds of thousands of pages of documents, saving our customers hours and hours of manual processing time, and helping them process medical claims much more quickly.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to ensuring the quality of our software products. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance, working alongside experienced engineers to test and validate our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Assist with identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using our issue tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs and QA to understand software features and identify potential issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Assist with the creation of test data and test environments.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Strong interest in software quality and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and software applications.
• Basic programming or scripting skills.
