Your Impact

As a Technical Lead at Weel, you’ll play a critical role in our Engineering team, driving key decisions related to project delivery, direction, and quality. You will guide the technical trajectory and provide support to a team of skilled developers. 

Balancing hands-on technical expertise with effective people management, this role is ideal for someone passionate about building and nurturing an epic team, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Your experience in full-stack application development will be invaluable, coupled with a solid understanding of how lean development teams operate. You’ll work with product managers, designers and other areas of our business to produce the best platform possible. We are building for scale and high performance to achieve our product mission of “Every expense, complete”.

Bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to the forefront, bringing together a cross-functional team for maximum impact. 

Skills and more of the day-to-day

-Experience with Python, React, React Native, Django, AWS 

-Leading Engineers - managing their growth and uplifting their capability

-Reviewing stories and/or tech designs, and then code to the task

-Pair with other developers for code reviews, training, or just general collaboration on tasks

-Provide feedback on tasks (practicalities, options, time estimates)

-Investigate and resolve complex bugs, manage your team's releases and work with business partners on new integrations

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives

-Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

-Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions

-Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability

-Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
