We are seeking to hire a Strategic Engagement Specialist to join our team. The Strategic Engagement Specialist supports the success of the engagement strategy which includes globally focused, complex engagements that position the unique value of Water.org and its affiliate entities, WaterEquity and WaterConnect. This position is primarily responsible for managing projects and assignments related to external events and enterprise communications. The incumbent in this position provides a professional reflection of the Office of the CEO to external contacts and collaborates effectively within and across the Water.org group of entities to achieve timely delivery of assigned objectives and priorities.
What You’ll do
Event Management
Works collaboratively to execute the organization’s global external engagement strategy and provides end-to-end project management of external events, including planning, logistics, scheduling, progress tracking and reporting, and facilitating post-event debriefs to capture key learning and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for developing and maintaining all tools to support event management.
Event Asset Coordination
Manages an up-to-date library of speaker assets, including CVs, bios, photos, headshots, and speaker profiles. Ensures consistency across digital platforms, internal communications, and event collateral. Supports preparation of applications, reports and/or other documentation. Manages the organization’s event-related website content in collaboration with the communications team.
Enterprise Communications Support
Facilitates internal coordination to streamline event-related communications, ensuring alignment across teams. Assists in drafting and coordinating principal speaker communications, including social media posts, thought leadership content, and other engagement materials. Supports the refinement of event positioning by ensuring messaging consistency across speaking engagements and external platforms.

Salary/Benefits
This position offers a base salary range of $75,000 -$85,000 . Base salary may be flexible based on skills, certifications, location and/or qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan up to 10%. This position offers full-time benefits inclusive of medical/dental insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement program, paid time off, paid holidays and more as well as periodic review for merit and incentive pay based on organizational and personal achievement.
