Restoration Engineer

If so, Walker Consultants is looking for an exceptional Structural/ Restoration Engineer in our Boston office. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated, and self-motivated candidate who has enthusiasm and curiosity for problem-solving and can work well in team environments.

Your time will be spent investigating, analyzing, and solving structural deficiencies involving existing buildings, parking structures, plazas, and other types of built structures. Your work will solve complex problems, many of which have no clear precedent and require fundamental and creative solution approaches. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of project managers, structural engineers, and architects to develop these solutions which ultimately add value and longevity to the built environment.

Requirements:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar.

· Ability to obtain professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering.

· Preferably 0-4 years of experience in forensic and/or restoration fields, but we are also open to new graduates.

· Strong writing, communication, and team skills. 

· Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.

· Willingness to travel.

$65,000-$90,000

Base salary range annually + bonus, depending on experience. Total financial compensation resulting from a performance bonus can increase your earning potential.
