Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales processes, lead generation, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our team's success. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Strategy, who oversees the execution of our go-to-marketing strategy and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Sales Processes: Support the sales team in various stages of the sales cycle, including nurturing contacts through various engagements and preparing materials to further interest.
- Generate Leads: Execute email campaign through our sales tools and make phone calls to generate interest/leads
- Support Marketing with Sales Enablement: Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales materials, including presentations, brochures, and case studies. Ensure that the sales team has the resources they need to effectively engage with prospects.
- Assist Data Management: Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and up-to-date information. Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to marketing and sales team as needed.
Learning Opportunities:
- Insight Selling: Gain valuable experience in insight selling, a modern sales approach that focuses on understanding and addressing the unique needs and challenges of clients. Learn how to provide valuable insights that can help clients make informed decisions.
- B2B Sales Experience: Work in the B2B (business-to-business) space, gaining practical experience and understanding of the complexities and rewards of selling to other businesses. This experience will be highly valuable for your future career in sales or business development.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales and a desire to pursue a career in sales or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
