Buying Assistant

Our client is a leading international online retailer with a strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia. They operate under multiple renowned brands, offering customers access to premium products at discounted prices.

They are now seeking a detail-oriented Buying Assistant to support their online retail business by creating and optimising product listings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry tasks related to product listings and inventory management.
• Create new product listings and optimise existing ones based on provided content guidelines.
• Write and enhance product titles, descriptions, and categorisation.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality product images, barcodes, and size charts (where applicable).
• Source missing product information from external websites, including Australian marketplaces and brand websites.
• Implement HTML formatting in product descriptions for enhanced presentation.
• Maintain and update product listings across various eCommerce platforms.

• Experience in eCommerce product content creation and online marketplaces.
• Expertise in MS Excel or Google Sheet, particularly with VLookUp function.
• Strong written English skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and source missing product information from online sources.
• Prior experience with marketplace listings (eBay, Amazon, and etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML formatting for product descriptions.
• Ability to follow structured content guidelines and meet deadlines.
