Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizes ICD-10-CM and CPT classification systems for accurate code assignment while maintaining a coding accuracy of 90% or better
  • Maintains compliance with coding standards and participates in training, while mentoring other coders and assisting with coding-related inquiries
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Program Graduate in ICD10 Coding (Required)
  • 3-4 years of experience in ICD1 Coding (Medical Practice) (Required)
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification from AAPC (Required upon hire)
