Position Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager who will own the marketing technology stack and be the go-to expert for data-driven insights within the Marketing team. This role is critical in optimizing and integrating our marketing tools, automating processes, and ensuring high data quality and reliable reporting. As the central link between Marketing, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams, you will design, implement, and continually improve our marketing workflows and analytics frameworks to drive the success of Ververica’s lead generation and brand awareness activities.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Technology & Process Management

  • Own and optimize the entire marketing technology stack (e.g., marketing automation platforms, CRM integrations, analytics tools, ABM platforms).
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes to support lead nurturing, scoring, and data enrichment.
  • Monitor system integrations and data flow to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key marketing metrics (e.g., lead generation, pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, and funnel efficiency).
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that inform marketing strategies and budget allocation.
  • Implement methods for measuring and attributing marketing efforts across channels and campaigns.
  • Establish and refine attribution models for better understanding of campaign performance.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Oversee the accuracy, cleanliness, and completeness of marketing data in our systems.
  • Manage database segmentation and audience targeting to ensure efficient and effective marketing outreach.
  • Drive compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to align processes and maintain a seamless lead flow.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and the rest of the Marketing team to help structure campaigns for optimal measurement and attribution.
  • Provide training and support to team members on marketing tools, best practices, and analytics.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the Marketing team and Sales Operations to ensure shared visibility into marketing initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot) and CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce). Certifications are a plus.
  • Strong background in data analytics and reporting, with expertise in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Basic fluency in Python and/or NodeJS - enough to understand and fix analytics and marketing automation workflows
  • Experience setting up lead scoring, nurturing programs, and multi-touch attribution.
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms, webinar tools, and project management software is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights and clearly communicate findings to different stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous optimization of marketing processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Interest or experience in data streaming, open-source software, or enterprise SaaS is a plus, but not required.
