Student Success Coach, STCC Campus (25-26, High School)

The Student Success Coach, STCC Campus will report to the Dean of Early College Programming. They will play a critical role in fostering a positive, structured, and supportive student experience at Veritas's Early College campus at STCC. This individual is responsible for overseeing student success initiatives, managing discipline and accountability structures, communication with families, and leading campus culture events and efforts. They will ensure that all students have the necessary support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Student Success & Accountability

  • Serve as the point person for student discipline, managing behavior interventions and ensuring alignment with school policies.
  • Oversee all student success contracts, track progress, communicate with students and families, and coordinate necessary interventions (academic and behavioral)
  • Implement and manage attendance protocols and procedures, ensuring timely follow-up, data tracking, and interventions for chronically absent students.
  • Work closely with the Campus Coordinator and the counseling department and s to support student success and well-being.
  • Support STCC Liaison Advisors in monitoring and supporting student behavior and social-emotional progress, collecting and reviewing data to collaborate with the Coordinator on decisions and protocols

Campus Culture & Programming

  • Lead all school culture initiatives, ensuring a positive, structured, and engaging student experience.
  • Own and coordinate cross-campus programming with Veritas and STCC, including student Culture Committee Events engagement initiatives, student leadership activities, and campus traditions.
  • Support and collaborate with the Student Leadership Committee and Carandos Student Council Advisor to facilitate student-led events and initiatives.
  • Oversee all campus-based events and field trip planning, including logistics, risk management, and student participation procedures.
  • Support College and Career Readiness Counselor with students’ college application processes and career-related applications and coordination
  • Manages all student transportation projects (daily transportation, cross-campus transportation, and field trip transportation) and owns communication with families and students about these events
  • Serve as a primary liaison for family communication regarding student discipline

Qualifications - Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a school
  • Experience supporting students in a school setting
  • Current authorization to work in the United States – a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

Qualifications - Preferred:

  • Teaching and leadership experience in an urban public school
  • School start up or restructuring experience
  • High School leadership experience

Veritas Prep offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefit packages that include the following:

  • Salary Range for this position is $47,000-71,000, exclusive of fringe benefits.
    • If hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
    • In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
    • Keep in mind, the above range is the full base salary range for this position. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
