Position Purpose:  
Responsible for developing, pre-qualifying, cold-calling and driving new business for our recycling services within a geographical area.  Working with wide range of customers from small to Fortune 500 companies- offering a variety of green solutions. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with an attention to detail is critical.

Primary Duties/responsibilities: 

  • Drive new business- sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Provide marketing materials, generating quotes and pricing to prospective customers
  • Generate new business and revenues for a specific territory and/or groups of assigned customers by offering existing and new available services
  • Assist customers providing resolution to problems and/or complaints in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a team approach to selling services to resellers and communicate frequently with all departments within the organization including outside sales, operations, and customer service
  • Perform other duties of a clerical nature as assigned or directed by immediate supervisor

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior work experience of 1 to 2 years in a related position preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

  • Have the ability to problem solve, and be an independent thinker
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Detail oriented, accurate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • CRM knowledge or experience a plus

Required Certification / Licenses / Training: 

  • Valid driver's license
