WorkDynamics are seeking a confident, highly motivated, and results-driven Business Development Intern to join the WorkDynamics Team.

The Role:
We are seeking a confident, highly motivated, and results-driven Business Development Intern to join the WorkDynamics Sales Team. In this Intern role, the candidate will be responsible for assisting in qualifying new inbound leads, sourcing outbound leads, and re-engaging existing leads already in our database. Your goal is to turn these engagements into meetings and new opportunities. The ideal candidate has some experience with the sales process and is motivated to learn and contribute to the sales teams’ success. The intern will require excellent communication skills and a strong focus on detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in researching and identifying potential government clients at Federal, Provincial/State, and Municipal levels across North America.
· Support the development of a pipeline of qualified leads through tasks such as market research, compiling data, and helping with outreach efforts.
· Participate in initial outreach to potential clients through supervised email campaigns and by preparing outreach materials.
· Work closely with the Sales team to learn about and contribute to the development of targeted sales strategies.
· Stay informed on industry trends, government regulations, and procurement processes.
· Help gather and organize feedback for the product development team by observing client interactions.
· Maintain accurate and updated records in the CRM system.
About You:
· Previous sales experience preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with cold calls and drafting outreach emails and summaries.
· Motivated to learn, with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.
· Basic research and data organization skills, with attention to detail.
· Familiarity with CRM software or willingness to learn.
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
· Able to commute to company office in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
