Registered Nurse (RN) - General PACU 
Full-Time - Night Shift; 3 12's, 7pm-7am
Baltimore, Maryland

Offering $20K Sign on Bonus

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of ICU experience  


Job Summary

The Main PACU is a 28-bay unit providing 24/7 specialized peri-anesthesia care to patients across the lifespan and spectrum of acuity, 365 days a year. Vigilant pre and post-operative care is provided to inpatients and outpatients undergoing scheduled or emergency surgery by more than 20 surgical and procedural services.  This team’s versatility serves patients treated by a broad array of surgical and medical specialties, providing a variety of clinical experiences for the life-long learner. Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration and fluid resuscitation.

Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice under a compact license;
  • BSN preferred (Associates Nurses with at least 1+ years of experience);
  • All applicants must have at least 1-2 yrs. preferred experience in ICU such as Surgical, Medical, and Neuro in an inpatient facility
  • Minimum 1 year ICU experience required. Surgical/trauma ICU preferred.
