Retention Specialist - Gainesville, FL

Universal Energy Solutions is on the lookout for a proactive and engaging Retention Specialist to join our team in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and enhancing customer relationships, ensuring that our clients feel valued and supported. As a Retention Specialist, your primary objective will be to minimize customer churn and foster loyalty to our sustainable energy programs.

You will engage with existing customers through various channels, utilizing your strong communication skills to address their needs, resolve concerns, and provide additional product information. By understanding our customers’ experiences and perceptions, you will play a key role in developing strategies that enhance customer retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to existing customers to assess satisfaction levels and address any concerns.
• Analyze customer feedback and retention metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide exceptional service while guiding customers toward renewal or upgrade options.
• Develop and implement customer retention strategies, including loyalty programs and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings based on customer feedback.

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retention roles, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess customer data and feedback.
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to handle objections and negotiate in a professional manner.
• Familiarity with CRM software and office applications.
• Creative thinking and initiative in developing solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Residents of Gainesville, FL, or surrounding areas are preferred.
