Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to perform risk assessments for homeowners applying for a Home Equity Investment product.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting pipeline and ensure compliance with internal standards
• Evaluate documentation for accuracy and completeness while identifying potential risks
• Monitor and approve conditions prior to funding and ensure property titles are free of encumbrances

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience underwriting residential loans
• Experience in reviewing and analyzing credit and property title reports
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and loan processing systems
• Proficiency in evaluating mortgage and financial risk
• Knowledge of FannieMae Selling Guidelines is preferred
