Senior SEO Specialist - Work from home

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives, drive technical SEO improvements, and support client strategy and communication. The ideal candidate will bring a strong generalist SEO background, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver measurable outcomes. An agency background is highly desirable given the role’s emphasis on managing multiple client accounts and reporting on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle on-page SEO strategies, including keyword research, meta optimisation, internal linking, content structure, and user intent alignment.
• Execute off-page SEO activities such as link-building strategies, backlink audits, and authority growth.
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement fixes (e.g., crawl issues, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, schema markup).
• Collaborate with account managers and digital team members to deliver cohesive strategies that align with client goals.
• Act as a key contact for SEO clients, participating in strategy meetings, providing regular updates, and presenting SEO performance insights.
• Utilise tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to monitor and report on SEO performance.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc performance reports that communicate results, opportunities, and strategic adjustments.
• Stay current with industry updates and search algorithm changes, adapting strategies as needed.
• Contribute to internal SEO knowledge-sharing and mentor junior team members when required.

• At least 4 years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proven experience in both on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools (GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Confident communicator able to interface directly with clients and present SEO strategies and results.
• Solid understanding of website architecture, CMS platforms (especially WordPress/Shopify), and basic HTML/CSS.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and development teams.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
