An independent content creator is seeking a sound editor to assist with editing audio samples for book narrations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for emerging audio professionals looking to gain practical experience in audiobook editing while working flexibly from home.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw audio recordings to create polished narration samples
• Remove background noise, mouth clicks, and other audio artifacts
• Ensure consistent audio levels throughout recordings
• Apply appropriate compression and EQ settings for voice clarity
• Create seamless transitions between audio segments

• Basic proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar DAWs)
• Understanding of fundamental audio editing techniques
• Attention to detail in identifying and correcting audio issues
• Ability to follow editing guidelines and specifications
• Access to appropriate audio editing software and hardware
