Threat Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Threat Management Specialist, Tier 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic to identify intrusion attempts and recommend detection mechanisms
• Utilize AI/ML tools to enhance incident response and automate threat detection processes
• Monitor and respond to security alerts across multiple platforms while coordinating incident response efforts

Required Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• One or more relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), GIAC Certified Security Essentials (GSEC), CISSP, or SSCP desired
• 3+ years of IT security experience with exposure to AI/ML projects
• 2+ years of experience in network traffic analysis
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity automation and proficiency in machine learning frameworks for threat detection
