Get to know the role

  • Job Title: Associate Video Producer
  • Job Summary: The Video Associate Producer plays a vital role in providing creative and operational support to the Live-Action Video Team, contributing through every stage of the production process—from initial development to final post-production. This position supports the video production team with production asset procurement and creation, vendor onboarding, shoot prep and on-set support, production schedules, budget tracking, and cross-functional communication with internal and external partners.

What you’ll do

  • Vendor onboarding and contract management: Work closely with production, legal, and finance to facilitate efficient review and processing of contracts and request action memos, purchase orders, and NDAs as needed.
  • Assist with building and managing call sheets, shot lists, asset trackers, production schedules, and project folders.
  • Assist producers with research and development of creative pitch materials.
  • Assist with scheduling project reviews, serving as a key communicator for cross-departmental teams.
  • Contribute to expanding our production network through vendor research and outreach and vetting.
  • Collaborate with producers to update project tasks and milestones in our project management system Wrike.
  • Manage product and asset requests: Request product samples, still assets, game capture, and animation clips from various departments to support productions, manage asset tracking and product returns.
  • Obtain and Track Production Costs and Assets: Collect and manage all essential production documents, including invoices, appearance releases, location agreements, asset clearances, and talent releases. Ensure proper closure and archiving of production folders upon project completion.
  • Support the studio manager in coordinating studio productions by booking spaces, hiring production assistants, and communicating production details effectively to facilities and security teams
  • On set support: Support producers with talent and vendor communication, interview and script materials, and green room, equipment, and studio prep.
  • Manage catering requests, craft services, and production supplies.
  • Provide administrative office support, including scheduling shipments and ordering supplies.  

               

What you’ll bring

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • Production / Project management background
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
  • Demonstrable time-management and project-management skills
  • Meticulous project organization and attention to detail 
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments, balance priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with video development, production, and post-production – Digital content development is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with television media, formats, technical terminology
  • Scheduling and calendaring experience - across multiple time zones a plus
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Wrike, and Workfront a plus
  • Pokémon brand, games, and animation familiarity a plus
  • Curiosity-driven learning style 

 

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $78,000 - $93,000 per year. The full range is $78,000 - $118,000 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
