The Hispanic and Immigrant Center of Alabama, ¡HICA!, is one of the most successful social impact organizations in Alabama and has been the major catalyst for the empowerment and economic progress of the Latino community for over 20 years. ¡HICA! is a non-profit organization with a successful track record of providing over 3,000 residents annually with quality services while advocating to local and state leaders for policies that improve the quality of life of all residents.

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager with strong leadership qualities and excellent networking skills. This role will involve cultivating and maintaining relationships with potential donors and clients across various sectors, as well as liaising with the public and internal teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for task delegation, developing strategies, and ensuring that annual fundraising goals are met. You should be highly organized, proactive, and capable of motivating others.

To excel in this position, you should stay up-to-date with marketing trends and be comfortable conducting sector-specific research. An outstanding Fundraising Manager will possess strong public speaking abilities and be confident delivering presentations to diverse audiences.

Fundraising Manager Responsibilities:

* Researching and identifying potential fundraising opportunities.

* Writing and submitting press releases as needed.

* Crafting funding proposals and submitting them to potential donors.

* Preparing quarterly budgets to support fundraising efforts.

* Developing creative strategies to raise awareness.

* Executing diverse marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.

* Organizing and participating in nonprofit events while networking with key stakeholders.

* Building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, the public, and media representatives.

* A Bachelor's degree in PR, Fundraising, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).

* 3-5 years of experience in fundraising.

* Prior experience in sales or marketing is also considered.

* Strong understanding of the charity sector.

* Proven experience in team management.

* Exceptional written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
