Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist III - Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and code inpatient and outpatient medical records according to current coding guidelines
  • Mentor and train lower-level coding specialists as needed to ensure quality coding practices
  • Maintain compliance with organizational, departmental, and regulatory coding standards


Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Licenses and Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS upon hire
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Expert level of knowledge of coding guidelines and practices
