Software Support Engineer (.NET & Angular)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SoftwareSupport Engineer (.NET & Angular) to join our dynamic 24/7 Support Team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing mission-critical applications. This is a 24/7 rotational shift remote role and is open to software engineers based in Pakistan

As part of the Support Team, you will work on a rotating shift schedule to provide round-the-clock support for our systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of our applications. As part of this team, you will be engaging with stakeholders based in Europe and Australia. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities -   

• Provide second and third-line technical support for .NET and Angular-based applications. 

• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal downtime. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve root causes. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
• Perform bug fixes and implement minor enhancements in .NET and Angular applications. 

• Maintain and update existing codebases and documentation, ensuring adherence to coding standards. 

• Collaborate on system upgrades and deployments with the wider teams. 
• Monitor application performance and system health within the Azure Environments ensuring high availability and reliability.  

• Generate incident and resolution reports for stakeholders. 
• Coordinate with other support engineers, developers, and stakeholders during critical incidents. 

• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to document solutions and best practices. 
• Act as an escalation point for critical application issues during assigned shifts. 

Key Qualifications -  

• Demonstrable experience as a Support Engineer in .NET Core, C# and Angular. 

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services. 

• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases; ability to write and optimize queries. 

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. 

• Good understanding of the Azure Cloud Platform 

• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices 

 Work Environment: 

• Rotating shifts, including overnight and weekend shifts. 

• Remote and Hybrid work options available 

Desired Skills: 

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform 

• Any Microsoft Certifications 

• Mobile Development 

• SQL Kata 

• Unit Testing 

• Support Experience: 

• Experience in application support within a 24/7 environment. 

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning. 

Preferred Qualifications -  

• Degree in any discipline. Computer Science (desirable) 

• Technical accreditations are highly desirable.
