Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be instrumental in driving Teeptrak's expansion in the U.S. market. You’ll take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to building strong relationships with prospects and clients. Your efforts will set the stage for successful partnerships, showcasing Teeptrak's innovative solutions to manufacturing companies, while helping us grow sustainably in the U.S. You’ll also have the opportunity to take initiative, adapt to evolving responsibilities, and wear multiple hats to meet the demands of a fast-growing company.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate high-quality leads through outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Pipeline Development: Research and qualify prospects, identify key decision-makers, and nurture relationships to build a sustainable pipeline for the sales team.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, maintaining relationships with customers as their primary point of contact. Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of Teeptrak’s solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups with qualified prospects, contributing to Teeptrak’s overall growth strategy in the U.S.
  • Strategic Contribution: Provide valuable insights to shape and implement sales strategies that align with Teeptrak’s long-term vision for success in the U.S. market.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Take ownership of challenges and responsibilities beyond a traditional sales role. In a fast-growing and evolving environment, be willing to wear multiple hats, tackle unexpected tasks, and identify new opportunities to drive growth.
  • Problem-Solving & Flexibility: Navigate the uncertainties of a growing company by thinking critically, adapting quickly, and implementing creative solutions to drive results.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity for ongoing strategic planning.
  • Value Proposition Demonstration: Effectively communicate Teeptrak’s unique value proposition to potential clients, addressing questions, overcoming objections, and building trust.
  • Team Growth & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the team’s growth by sharing insights, best practices, and continuously enhancing your understanding of Teeptrak’s solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously enhance your understanding of Teeptrak’s products and the manufacturing industry to better position our solutions and provide more value to prospects.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle is a plus but not required.
  • A demonstrated interest in the manufacturing, industrial, or technology sectors is required.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where responsibilities may shift and adaptability is key.

Skills:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and clearly articulate Teeptrak’s value proposition.
  • Technical Learning: Ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and products in a relatable way to prospects.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting responsibilities.

  • Self-Motivation: Highly organized and self-driven, with excellent time management skills.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Coachable: Willingness to learn, grow, and accept feedback to continuously improve performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinker who can identify challenges and deliver solutions that benefit both the company and the customer.
