Business Development Representative
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time with a 1-hour break
Salary: $1,000 per month
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The ideal person will be comfortable targeting decision-makers (VPs, Directors, and C-level execs) within the multifamily space and driving qualified business development conversations that align with our executive recruiting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, calls, and LinkedIn to generate leads and set qualified appointments.
- Leverage tools such as Apollo, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo (or others as required).
- Tailor outreach based on company insights, job postings, and active hiring signals.
- Industry-Specific Targeting:
- Research and identify hiring managers within the multifamily/property management space.
- Work closely with our recruiting team to align outreach with available Most Placeable Candidates (MPCs).
- Track results and highlight companies with strong potential for future follow-up.
- Appointment Setting:
- Book 10 to 20 qualified appointments monthly, prioritizing quality over volume.
- Ensure smooth handoff of prospects to the sales/recruiting team.
- CRM & Reporting:
- Consistently document outreach, engagement activity, and appointment outcomes in Loxo or a structured spreadsheet.
- Report on campaign performance and provide feedback for optimization.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a BDR, appointment setting, or outbound lead generation role.
- Experience in recruiting, consulting, or professional services is a plus.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about the multifamily industry.
- Familiarity with tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, etc.
- Polished and professional communication skills across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable working with CRMs and data-tracking tools.
