Tagaddod is seeking a dedicated and organized CFYE Project Coordinator to manage
and support the execution of our youth employment initiatives in partnership with the
Challenge Fund for Youth Employment. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our
projects focused on creating sustainable, inclusive economic opportunities.
The Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) is an initiative funded by the
Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Palladium in partnership with
VSO and Randstad. CFYE aims to create sustainable, decent employment opportunities
for young people across Africa and the Middle East. The fund supports innovative,
market-based solutions led by private sector partners to address youth unemployment
challenges, especially for women and vulnerable groups.
Through technical assistance and co-financing, CFYE works with businesses and
organizations to scale inclusive employment models, enhance youth skills, and drive
long-term economic impact.
Tagaddod’s Partnership with CFYE
Tagaddod collaborates with CFYE to tackle youth unemployment in Egypt by creating
over 3,050 jobs, with more than 80% targeted at women. This partnership is rooted in

• Operational Enhancements: On-ground presence, app campaigns, and collector
training to optimize operations.
With CFYE's support, Tagaddod not only promotes sustainable waste management
through UCO recycling but also empowers young people—especially women—through
meaningful employment opportunities.
