Demand description: Software Engineer in the field of further development of web application WFs 
 
Activity (short description): Integration into Workflow-Tool development team – further development based on the user stories of the transparency systems for FTTH as well as processing of faults and support requests via the open Source Application CMS (Content Management System) and MariaDB, PostGreSQL or OracleDB on the database side. 
 
Description: As a Software Engineer / Developer, you will be responsible for the further development of certain software for products and services along the entire development process in your area of responsibility, developing a wide variety of new functionalities in various subsystems and services. 
  

•  You will be responsible for clarifying requirements in the area of responsibility and adapting the software for specific products and services
• You will carry out appropriate programming work (coding) and take over the installation, configuration and administration of the software for specific products and services
• You create and maintain software documentation in the area of responsibility and support the lifecycle management for the developed software for products and services by proactively contributing your own ideas and suggestions for improvement
• You will be involved in the conception of test automation and the execution of tests 

Skill requirements:  

You have a study in computer science or completed vocational training in combination with several years of professional experience in the field of system engineering. Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills: 

•  Expert knowledge in technology and methods: database programming SQL, web applications, use of TALEND or KNIME  
•  Advanced knowledge of relevant description languages PHP, Python, JavaScript and HTML and (object-oriented) programming languages  
•  Advanced knowledge of relevant database programming languages MariaDB, PostgreSQL or PL/SQL 
•  Practical experience in the use of appropriate tools for development, change management and configuration management, ETL, database automation  
• Intercultural experience in offshore projects  
• Experience in agile methods KANBAN, SCRUM
