Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in the Seattle area.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop Seattle-area suppliers, building robust control plans
• Lead root cause analysis and guide corrective actions for long-term solutions
• Utilize scorecards and QMS improvements to enhance supplier performance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in supplier-facing quality engineering, preferably in mechanical hardware or components
• Strong relationship-building and accountability skills with suppliers
• Process-driven mindset with a focus on systems rather than quick fixes
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or structured quality systems
• Ability to make decisions with limited data while considering business outcomes
