SUMMARY
Execute Sales and inventory management policy to effectively manage inventory levels, timely inventory replenishment, and continuous improvement optimizing inventory to business levels for assigned branches. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills that allow them to work across departments to drive, improve, and achieve business objectives. Timely, effective communication, both written and oral, with our principal suppliers and sales teams is an essential element of the role.

The Inventory Control / Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for performing the below job duties.
•Manages and controls inventory levels of all products for assigned region and or stocking locations. This includes branch locations.
•Manages the Return Goods Authorization (RGA) process.
•Evaluates, plans, and purchases replenishment inventory aligned to demand profile and current business conditions.
•Assists in the management of NC/NR items and E&O inventory.
•Continuously monitors slow-moving items to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
•Reviews and acquires backordered items from supplier or leverages inter-company transfer to meet customer request date.
•Review and analyze Recommended Order Report to make replenishment inventory order decisions.
•Regular review of Reorder Points to maintenance item planning parameters.
•Reviews strategic inventory plan to measure performance and make course corrections.
•Works with others to reconcile inter-company transfer and purchase order variances.
•Reconciles AP to PO report to ensure timely payment.
•Optimizes purchase orders for EOQ and freight allow minimums.
•Develops and maintains professional relationships with suppliers.
•Performs purchase order confirmation, on-time delivery follow-up, and expediting actions daily.
•Develops and maintains professional and collaborative relationships with Sales Team members.
•All other duties as assigned.
This job operates in an office and occasional warehouse-type environment where the employee could be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The temperature is usually moderate; however, the employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold and heat. This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position reports directly to the President and/or Operation Manager
Requirements:
•An Associates degree or higher (Bachelors preferred) in Business, Industrial Logistics, or related field, with two plus years working in a related position. Candidates with acceptable experience in Purchasing and/or Inventory Control will also be considered.
Note:
Ideal candidate will have Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience.
