Substance is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Talent Scout Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Talent Scout, you will play a vital role in identifying and attracting top talent for various roles across regions, industries and build a robust talent pool for each verticals. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates, conducting preliminary interviews, and assisting in the overall recruitment process. If you are passionate about talent acquisition and eager to learn, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively search for and identify potential candidates through job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Initial Outreach: Conduct initial outreach to candidates, introducing them to opportunities and gauging their interest.
- Interview Coordination: Assist in scheduling interviews between candidates and recruiters, ensuring a smooth process.
- Database Management: Maintain and update candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential talent pools and trends in the job market.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the recruitment team to support various hiring initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Resourceful, someone with substance, depth and not just style, you back up your words with data and facts.
- Diligent: you are meticulous and you dont let things slip away cos you know it matters.
- Tech savvy: you are quick learner when it comes to picking up software skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable using social media and job boards for candidate sourcing.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn about the recruitment process.
- You speak more than 2 languages.
- You are comfortable working in hybrid set up (4 days a week in office, 1 day wfh)
