State Policy & Advocacy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Policy & Advocacy Manager (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Support and promote public policy and advocacy initiatives related to breast cancer and public health policy in assigned states
• Build and maintain relationships with state legislators and stakeholders, providing day-to-day support for advocacy activities
• Track and assess state legislation, regulatory efforts, and budget climates while participating in statewide policy collaboratives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
• 3-5 years of directly related work experience, particularly with state legislatures and agencies
• Proven ability to research, draft, analyze, and interpret legislation
• Experience in executing advocacy campaigns independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel within assigned states for lobbying and events, less than 25% of the time
